ST Engineering iDirect will integrate the network management program from G&S SatCom into its Intuition ground system software, under a new strategic partnership. G&S SatConnect is a service management platform widely adopted by satellite operators. The company cites SES and Viasat as its customers.

ST Engineering iDirect announced Tuesday it will integrate G&S SatConnect into Intuition as an operations support system (OSS) and business support system (BSS). The ground system company explained this integration will bridge network operations with service definition, delivery, and lifecycle management, to help standardize workflows. 

“The partnership with ST Engineering iDirect removes barriers for satellite operators and service providers, streamlines workflows, and reduces operational complexity, allowing them to focus on business growth,” said David Schmitz, CEO of G&S SatCom. “Operators and service providers can modernize their networks at their own pace, transition to next-generation capabilities with confidence, and maintain uninterrupted service while unlocking new commercial opportunities.”
